Overview of the Company and Position:

- The job is at Heritage Company in Hurricane, WV

- Small, family owned business

- It is a part-time sales clerk job

- 20-29 hours weekly

- Low pressure work environment employed by a small family

- No evenings later than 6:00pm at this time

- Some weekends required

- Closed most holidays

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and helpful attitude

- Maintain a clean and organized store environment

- Operate cash register and handle financial transactions accurately

- Stock and arrange merchandise on shelves and displays

- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers

- Take custom order leads in an accurate fashion

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Creative, artistic individuals desired

- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Friendly, positive and helpful attitude toward customers

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Basic math skills and attention to detail for cash handling

- Physical ability to lift and move merchandise as needed up to 50 pounds

- Able to operate iPad and computer for inventory management

- Previous retail experience preferred, but not required
