Inspiration: John F. Kennedy visited West Virginia on the day of the Centennial Celebration. He walked to a microphone on the capitol steps in the pouring rain and proclaimed, “the sun does not always shine in West Virginia but the people always do!” The quote is now a permanent fixture inside the capitol building. Whether it’s floods or tornadoes or winter gloom or dark days we all experience at times in life we always shine.
